Terms of Service — Inspectrly

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Inspectrly mobile application, the inspectrly.aiappnation.com waitlist page, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by PLAYRIOT LLC (“PLAYRIOT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The short version: Inspectrly is a tool for licensed and certified home inspectors. It assists your work but does not replace professional judgment, certification, or compliance with local inspection codes. You own your inspection data. We charge a monthly subscription. We provide the Service "as is" with reasonable care but no warranties of fitness for a specific purpose.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed or certified home inspector (or actively enrolled in an accredited inspection training program) to use Inspectrly. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The Service

Inspectrly provides software for capturing home inspections via voice and photo, generating narrative findings with AI assistance, and producing PDF reports for delivery to clients. The Service is provided on iOS (iPhone and iPad). PLAYRIOT is not licensed to perform home inspections and is not a certifying body. Inspectrly does not replace professional judgment, certification, or compliance with local, state, or federal inspection codes and standards.

3. Subscriptions

Inspectrly is offered on subscription tiers (Solo Starter, Growing) at the prices displayed in the App Store and on inspectrly.aiappnation.com at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via your Apple ID subscription settings.

Free trial. A 14-day free trial may be offered for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will auto-renew at the regular price. Trial eligibility may be limited per Apple ID.

Refunds. All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are governed by Apple’s App Store refund policy; we do not process refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.

Inspection limits. Solo Starter includes up to 20 inspections per month. Growing includes up to 80 inspections per month. Exceeding these limits will prompt an in-app upgrade option; we will never silently charge you more than the displayed tier price.

4. Founder Pricing

The "$19/month locked in for life" offer is limited to the first 100 inspectors to subscribe after launch. No membership verification is required — first-100 status is determined by subscription start time only. The locked-in price applies to the Solo Starter tier only and remains valid as long as your subscription is continuous; cancellation forfeits the locked-in price. Once 100 subscribers have claimed the founder rate, the Solo Starter tier reverts to its standard published price for all new subscribers.

5. Your Data

You retain all rights to your inspection data, photos, narratives, and client records. We do not claim ownership of any content you create with Inspectrly. Your inspection records are stored locally on your device and, if you opt in to iCloud Sync, in your private iCloud container. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. AI Narrative Generation

The AI narrative builder generates suggested finding text based on your inputs. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated narrative before including it in a delivered report. AI suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or imprecise terminology. You retain professional responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of your inspection reports.

7. Pre-Built Templates

Inspectrly includes 12 pre-built inspection templates designed by experienced inspectors. These templates are provided as a starting point. You are responsible for adapting them to local code, your scope of work, and your professional judgment. PLAYRIOT does not warrant that the templates comply with any specific jurisdiction’s inspection standards.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
Use the Service to harass, defame, or invade the privacy of any person.
Submit inspection records, photos, or client data that you do not have the right to capture and store.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service to third parties.
Attempt to circumvent inspection limits, subscription tiers, or founder-rate eligibility (the first-100 cap is enforced by subscription start time).

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, logos, the Inspectrly wordmark, pre-built templates, and AI narrative engine, is owned by PLAYRIOT LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your home inspection business, subject to these Terms.

10. Third-Party Trademarks

Spectora, Tap Inspect, Home Inspector Pro, OneClick Reporting, Hive Inspect, ARGUS, and InterNACHI are trademarks of their respective owners. References on this Service are for comparison, identification, and interoperability purposes only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT. PLAYRIOT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAYRIOT’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL PLAYRIOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PLAYRIOT LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including any claim that an inspection report you delivered was inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise deficient.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, harms other users, PLAYRIOT, or third parties. Upon termination, your subscription will end at the close of your current billing period (no partial refunds), and you may export your inspection data from your iCloud container at any time.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after material changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
