When does Inspectrly launch?

Summer 2026 on the App Store. Waitlist members get a TestFlight invite a few weeks before public launch, and the locked-in $19/month pricing for life.

Can I import from Spectora, Tap Inspect, or HomeGauge?

Not yet. Inspectrly is built for new inspectors starting fresh — the focus is making your first 100 inspections feel like inspections from a 10-year veteran. If you’re switching from an established platform with years of custom narratives, you may be better served by OneClick Reporting (web-only) or sticking with your current tool until our import path is ready.

iPhone only, or iPad too?

Both. Inspectrly is iPad-landscape native — that’s the recommended on-site workflow. iPhone works for quick edits and the Apple Watch start/stop. iCloud sync keeps both in sync seamlessly.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Native iOS means offline-first. Your inspection saves to device immediately — voice, photos, findings — and syncs to your private iCloud when you’re back to wifi or LTE. Basements, rural properties, and dead zones are covered.

How is the AI narrative builder different from ChatGPT?

It’s trained specifically for home inspection language — severity tagging (Marginal, Defective, Safety Hazard), code references, the proper professional phrasing inspectors expect. It works from your voice or text observation and outputs a structured finding ready for your report. Every AI suggestion is editable. You can build your personal library by saving the narratives you like.

What if I do more than 20 inspections in a month?

Solo Starter has a soft 20-inspection cap. When you hit it, we’ll prompt you to upgrade to the Growing tier ($39/month) for 80 inspections per month. We’ll never silently charge you above your displayed tier price.

How does the founder pricing work?

The first 100 inspectors to subscribe after launch get the Solo Starter tier locked in at $19/month for life. No membership verification required — your spot is reserved by subscription start time. The price lock stays valid for as long as your subscription is continuous. Once 100 inspectors have claimed it, Solo Starter reverts to the standard price for new subscribers.

Where does my data live?

On your device and in your private iCloud container only. PLAYRIOT never sees your inspections, photos, or client info. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Do you put ads on the reports I send to clients?

No. Not on free trials, not on Solo Starter, not on Growing. Not ever. Your reputation is on every page of every report you deliver — we will not be the reason a client questions it.

What about Apple Watch and Apple Pencil?

Apple Watch ships at launch — start/stop inspections, quick voice notes, see your inspection list. Apple Pencil is on the roadmap for annotating inspection photos in v1.1.
